The Annual Steven Sotloff Memorial Scholarship has been awarded at several universities across the country, most notably an endowed scholarship from the University of Miami's School of Communication (Journalism).

The scholarships are given out annually at the 50 yard line at the Miami Dolphins' Hard Rock Stadium, with the help of the inimitable Stan Rodman, and Art and Shirley Sotloff.
